Pellegrino Ritter was born in 1957 in Muenster, Germany, where he now lives and works, dividing his time there with the city of his choice, New York. He studied painting at the art conservatory in Kassel, Germany. His illustrations have been published widely, in magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Conde Nast Traveler, Esquire, La Luna de Madrid, Merian, Stern and Vogue. FLAG ART originals have appeared in various exhibitions in Europe and the U.S.
